The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC) Canada represents firms providing professional engineering services across the public and private sectors. As an advocate for the industry, ACEC supports its members and strengthens the engineering community.
ACEC needed a Government Relations brochure to communicate an important Policy Notification. The document needed to make complex information easy to understand and navigate. It also needed to speak to policymakers, stakeholders, and ACEC members.
We started with research into the audience, policy goals, and communication needs. From there, we built a structure that prioritizes readability and a logical flow of information. A horizontal trifold format lets the brochure work across both print and digital applications.
The final design uses ACEC’s signature smoky grey and crimson palette for a professional, confident look. Bold headlines and callouts help readers navigate the content and find key messages. We also varied quote sizes and weights to highlight voices from across the engineering community. The result is a focused communication piece that makes complex information easier to digest. It gives ACEC a clear and engaging way to share policy information with its audience.
