Harvey’s Lawn Care provides premium lawn maintenance and landscaping services in the Almonte, Ashton, Carp, and Dunrobin areas. Their focus is on high-end residential, equestrian, and commercial properties, and they wanted their branding to reflect the elevated level of service they offer. As a growing business, they needed a visual identity that would signal professionalism and quality to a discerning clientele.
They approached us to develop a logo and a suite of branded materials, including business cards, signage, and trailer decals. Their goal was to present themselves as a top-tier service provider, capable of meeting the expectations of estate owners and commercial clients alike. The branding needed to be clean, memorable, and convey a sense of trust and expertise.
Named after owner James’ son, Harvey, they wanted a logo that would set the tone for a brand they could be proud of. We created a logo that strikes a balance between classic elegance and modern simplicity. “Harveys” is set in a refined serif typeface. This gives it a sense of tradition and credibility. Meanwhile, “Lawn Care” uses a minimal sans-serif for contrast and clarity. Alongside the wordmark, a custom icon shows rows of perfectly cut grass leading up to an ornate iron gate. This subtly references the types of properties they serve.
In addition, the colour palette combines black with two complementary greens. One green is rich and natural, and the other is a lighter lime tone. This choice creates a feeling of freshness and vitality. At the same time, it keeps the upscale impression. The final identity system works well across many applications. These range from small print materials to large trailer decals. This lets Harvey’s present a consistent and confident image wherever they appear.
