3sixty Secure Corp is a multinational security services company offering customized solutions to public and private sector clients worldwide. As a new company, they needed an identity, website and branded collateral to launch their business. They wanted a bespoke solution to ensure they would stand out as a leading choice in the competitive international security industry.
It was important that their corporate identity and visual brand communicate their progressive business model and extensive knowledge base. Their promotional materials had to clearly convey their range of services and unique offerings, and position them as elite, progressive, diverse and experienced.
We began by analyzing 3sixty’s corporate name, naming conventions and how their name would be best communicated. Next, we created a visual representation of their name, and developed a symbol to conceptually convey their core values. Our team chose a hexagon for the logo’s core, because it speaks to strength, teamwork, efficiency and efficacy. It also calls to mind a shield, an international symbol of security.
We developed the hexagon using a combination of chevrons arranged in a 360˚ pattern, to enclose a central shape – the equilateral hexagon – while giving the impression of a three-dimensional cube, further reinforcing the idea of 360˚ protection. Our designers paired it with a deep navy blue and black colour palette, conveying a sense of security, solidity and trustworthiness.
To build a strong visual brand, we extended the hexagon motif from 3sixty’s logo across their suite of promotional materials. Our goal was to ensure that their communications appeared engaging, progressive and professional. We developed corporate stationery, a kit folder and outdoor signage, as well as event banners that included several pop-up banners, a 20-foot-wide backlit banner and a fully-customized hexagonal hanging banner.
As 3sixty expanded, it was important for them to have an easily identifiable list of services which could be distributed to potential clientele. To that end, we created a family of branded documents that organize and categorize 3sixty’s offerings. We also developed a set of icons to visually convey the company’s services, capabilities and features.
The identity we developed for 3sixty communicates a message of strength, expertise and professionalism. It has created a solid foundation from which to base the rest of their communications, allowing them to promote themselves effectively, to evolve and grow their business, and to widen their global influence.
