Commissionaires Canada is a private, not-for-profit Canadian company that holds the highest retention rate in the industry. Currently employing more than 21,000 people, their well-trained, diverse team is primarily comprised of former military and RCMP.
Commissionaires needed a promotional brochure to illustrate impressive key points about the organization and advertise their services to potential clients.
We understood the importance of conveying all of Commissionaires’ messages while creating a visually appealing brochure that would attract – and hold – people’s attention. To answer the objective, we created an infographic to display the organization’s many benefits, all in a fun and engaging way.
Our team used bold imagery, photo treatments and strategically applied brand colours to bring focus to each key point. We also developed custom graphics using bright, complementary colours, serving as visual representations of the accompanying text.
Reflecting on Commissionaires’ national We Know the Value of a Veteran campaign, we realized there was an opportunity to integrate the campaign’s design into the brochure for additional exposure. Our team used the same typeface and double-slash graphic in the brochure’s header. We also maintained a visual consistency of colour and dynamic text treatments. Additionally, on the back of the pamphlet, we included an ad from the campaign series that featured one of Commissionaires’ most decorated veterans.
We created an energetic, inviting and sleek brochure that highlights the positive impact Commissionaires has on Canada, its communities and its veterans who have worked hard to keep us safe.
