Floss Dental Collective is a group of dedicated, compassionate dental professionals. Led by honesty and fairness, their practice is committed to providing their patients with quality dental care through an integrated approach.
They started out as Capital Dental Hygiene, but as their business grew and evolved, they needed to update their online web presence to better represent and position their modern approach to dentistry.
Floss needed to distinguish themselves as offering exceptional service. We developed the name Floss Dental Collective to convey their modern, accessible, and comprehensive approach to dentistry – appealing to a new generation of patients. We wanted to convey their professionalism, but also keep it light and fun.
We developed a logo combining dental floss into the shape of a tooth. It immediately says “dental” without the pervasive and ubiquitous cartoon tooth. We created a unique and lively design and paired the soft curls with a clean, calm typeface.
We integrated their brand into a fresh new online presence. The page features a clear one-page scrolling design with clean, bold headings and a static top navigation. Bright blues overlay authentic photography from their studio and balance the white space, while small pops of orange are integrated into the design to complement the palette.
The genuine, warm and enthusiastic team of specialists that encompass this collective needed to shine through, and we wanted to demonstrate their approachable, accessible disposition. We set up a photoshoot at their office to capture the smiles of Floss, ensuring consistency and cohesion in the lighting and compositions.
Floss’s new brand conveys the essence of their organization. It positions them as professional, approachable and dynamic. Their new website captures their personalities, philosophies and ideals and communicates them with an accessible and engaging online presence. #flossthoseteeth
