The 2019 Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) conference theme was New Nuclear: Generating Solutions for Climate and Health. Its goal was to show how nuclear energy generates solutions for the significant challenges of today and tomorrow and to explain why younger generations are becoming passionate about new nuclear and all its benefits.
The CNA required eye-catching graphics that would engage conference participants and capture the spirit of the event.
The 2019 conference centred on new medical advancements and environmental innovations available through modern nuclear technology. To capture that, we designed a motif with translucent leaves erupting from its core, reflecting the notions of growth, health, environment and potential. The white space in the centre of the leaves depicts a sunrise, demonstrating the possibilities that nuclear offers today’s generation for a brighter tomorrow.
To create visual cohesion throughout the conference, we designed a collection of print and digital materials. Each piece of collateral featured leaf-shaped motifs that added a dynamic, elegant visual that complemented the conference theme and logo.
Conference materials included program booklets, app graphics, social media assets, video backgrounds, conference programs, hotel key cards, and large format signage featuring sponsors and daily schedules to help attendees effortlessly navigate the event.
By helping to provide a well-branded conference, we contributed to raising awareness of the positive impact nuclear energy has on the environment, the medical industry and the future and supported the success of the sold-out event.
