ACOTRO is the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulators in Canada. Their goal is to promote consistency and excellence in regulating occupational therapy by providing guidance and information to occupational therapists, promoting best regulatory practices and enhancing public accountability.
After operating for 22 years, ACOTRO became incorporated in 2011, and needed to establish new branding and a corporate identity with communication tools that would increase awareness of licensing and regulating occupational therapists from out-of-province and/or country.
We facilitated a full day branding workshop with Canada’s occupational therapy regulators to create a corporate brand that resonates with their target audiences, and to craft the key messages for their website. We wrote and designed a full package of promotional collateral to communicate their mission and core values to key audiences in Canada and internationally.
We created a new bilingual logo and stationery set with associated Word templates, PowerPoint templates for presentations, bannerstands for conferences, advertisements, postcard promotions, and email signatures.
We developed a strong, cohesive brand to strengthen public awareness and perception, and to solidify recognition of ACOTRO as the national organization of occupational therapy regulators in Canada.
A master style guide was also developed as a blueprint for informing all corporate communications, resulting in the standardized, professional correspondence of an organization speaking to its audience with a united voice.
The new collateral effectively communicates their mission and core values to key audiences internationally, fostering public awareness and perception, and promoting the exchange of information and resources within the OT community.
