This design had to honour Joe Montana’s legendary football career while distinguishing itself within the Gold Bar collection. In turn, it needed to captivate whiskey enthusiasts and sports fans alike. The Joe Montana Whiskey label aimed to fuse bold storytelling with the brand’s signature elegance, creating a visual that feels both iconic and exclusive. Our team jumped at the chance to craft a design that celebrates Montana’s legacy and elevates Gold Bar’s prestige.
We set out to create a Joe Montana Whiskey label that radiates Montana’s legacy and aligns with Gold Bar’s high-class and upscale identity. The design had to resonate with football fans, entice whiskey aficionados, and shine as an impressive display piece. In short, it needed to feel premium, thoughtful, and rich with narrative, just like every Gold Bar release. Our team drew inspiration from Montana’s storied career to craft a bold, distinctive look.
The Joe Montana Whiskey label merges Gold Bar’s sleek style with tributes to an NFL icon. Blend 273 features a striking Joe Montana illustration, a limited-edition San Francisco 49ers over strip, and Montana’s classic signature, nodding to his career touchdown passes. Meanwhile, Blend 117 channels a classic 49ers jersey design, honouring Montana’s 117 regular-season wins. Both designs balance elegance and grit while ensuring they stand out on shelves and spark conversation among collectors.
