JASK is a day spa located in Ottawa’s Stittsville neighbourhood. They offer luxurious spa treatments, registered massage therapy, salon services, and personalized skincare. Committed to high standards in the wellness industry, their mission is to help clients feel confident, relaxed, and well cared for. With a skilled team and a calming atmosphere, JASK has become a trusted self-care destination in the Ottawa area.
They approached us in search of a refreshed design philosophy. It needed to reflect their dedication to quality, showcase their team’s expertise, and convey the upscale, calming atmosphere they’ve carefully cultivated. Since the website serves as their main online presence and a key customer conversion tool, it had to make a strong first impression. At the same time, it needed to be clear, welcoming, and easy to use. As a result, the design had to strike a careful balance. It needed to combine modern elegance with the rustic charm of the spa’s heritage stone building. The goal was to create something that felt sophisticated but remained grounded and authentic.
JASK’s new website had to reflect their professionalism and sense of luxury. It also needed to appeal to clients from Ottawa and nearby areas. The design draws visual inspiration from the spa’s physical location, blending traditional elements with a minimalist layout.
We used ample whitespace, bold type contrasts, and fine keylines to give the layout structure. In addition, imagery includes an abstract overlay that echoes marble and water textures from JASK’s brand. This treatment highlights the spa’s setting while adding elegance. Clear navigation and large, well-labeled interactive elements improve usability and enhance the experience across all devices.
