Commissionaires is one of Canada’s leading providers of security services, and one of the country’s top employers of veterans. With divisions operating in every province, the organization places a strong emphasis on consistency, collaboration, and clear communication. Each year, Commissionaires holds an Annual Meeting of Divisions (AMOD), where representatives from across the country gather to discuss shared goals, challenges, and priorities.
The Commissionaires AMOD report captures the key takeaways from this meeting. It summarizes decisions, outcomes, and strategic direction in a single, unified document. For this project, Commissionaires required a professional design that could present dense content in a clean and organized format. The goal was to make the report easy to read, visually appealing, and aligned with the organization’s brand.
Our approach to the Commissionaires AMOD report design focused on structure, clarity, and consistency. We developed a grid-based layout that uses generous white space and logical hierarchy to guide the reader’s eye. Internally, the design allows information to flow smoothly between sections, supporting both quick reference and deeper reading. A bold cover adds visual impact while setting the tone for the document, while clear typography ensures legibility across all page types and formats.
To maintain strong brand alignment, we incorporated Commissionaires’ deep blue and vibrant orange—colours that represent trust, professionalism, and service. These brand colours appear throughout the report to reinforce recognition and unify the document visually. Accent tones and dividers help organize dense content while adding contrast and energy. Overall, the final design supports the AMOD report’s purpose: to foster clear communication across all divisions. It presents essential content in a format that is approachable, consistent, and thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of a diverse audience.
