The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies Canada (ACEC) launched the ACEC National Awards for 2025. This prestigious program celebrates innovative engineering projects from ACEC member firms across the country. Specifically, it highlights transformative contributions that deliver lasting benefits to communities worldwide.
ACEC sought a distinctive corporate identity for the ACEC National Awards identity to elevate the event’s visibility. This design needed to set a professional yet inspiring tone and reflect core values: innovation, excellence, and impact. Moreover, it had to honour the creative, impactful work submitted for consideration. Therefore, the identity aimed to unify the awards’ branding, ensuring a cohesive presence across all platforms. Our team eagerly tackled this challenge to craft a memorable identity that resonates with diverse audiences and amplifies the awards’ national and global prestige.
We aimed to design an ACEC National Awards identity that captures innovation, excellence, and impact. Therefore, we created a logo that inspires pride and showcases Canadian engineers’ achievements. The design blends clean lines with dynamic elements, symbolizing progress and sophistication. Additionally, its versatility ensures clarity across print materials, digital media, and large-scale signage. For example, the logo maintains impact on event banners and social media graphics alike.
To achieve this, we researched ACEC’s mission thoroughly. This process guided our creation of a cohesive, bold identity. As a result, we developed a professional yet approachable design. The colour palette, vibrant yet refined, evokes trust and creativity. Furthermore, the ACEC National Awards identity strengthens recognition wherever it appears. Our active design choices ensure the branding feels engaging and dynamic. Ultimately, this identity celebrates engineers’ ingenuity. It reflects their commitment to transforming communities through impactful solutions, aligning perfectly with the awards’ vision.
